WUTZ-DB Wutz Hood Radio Station started in July 2009, as a two-hour show called Hood Access Radio, with host, DJ Hipnotik. It has evolved into a station that plays solely independent Hip Hop, Rap, and R&B, music, airing twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. We have several hosted and non-hosted shows that listeners can tune in and listen weekly via the Web, mobile and tablet devices, smart TV, and in vehicles equipped with an auxiliary jack or Internet radio players.

The station's programming draws inspiration from listeners’ desire to discover new music. We love connecting the artists with listeners. Many of the artists have experienced new opportunities through receiving airplay on the station. One notable account is an artist we referred for an opportunity was chosen to appear on the new Spike Lee film, "You're Nobody Until Somebody Kills You."

The station is heavily involved in the community. We are helping raise awareness for breast cancer by creating special t-shirts: DJs Scratch for the Cure and Radio Broadcasts for the Cure, where we will donate all proceeds to a local breast cancer center.
