Lyrics

is it any wonder, we try and try again
nothin' ever turns out right, every day's another fight
we never talk it over, we just keep it all inside
cryin' sleepless nights away, prayin' for the light of day

listen to the rain fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my pain it's a healing time again
listen to the rain fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my pain let it heal me once again

when your not there to hold me, I feel so lost inside
well I dont know where to go, walkin' circles in the floor
I think about the lonely nights, all the emptiness I feel
layin' in my empty bed, there's so many more ahead

listen to the rain, fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my painlet it heal me once again
listen to the rain, fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my pain it's a healin' time again

as I sit and listen, it brings back all the years
I think about the times we had as i'm fightin' back the tears
guess we'll never know, what the future holds in store
you tell me that you've had enough, but I keep comming back for more

listen to the rain fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my pain it's a healin' time again
listen to the rain, fallin' on the roof
let it wash away my pain it's a healin time again

listen to the rain fallin' on the roof...(ad lib outro...)
