The Unravelling are a three piece band based in Sydney, Australia. The band fuse the sound of the “new wave” bands of the early 80s such as Human League, New Order, Blondie, Depeche Mode, Ultravox and The Cure with more modern influences as diverse as Linkin Park, Bloc Party and Muse. The Unravelling blend evocative melodies and electro beats with jazz-tinged harmonic structures, catchy hooks and Celtic lyricism. The band has been gigging regularly around Sydney in 2010. Their album “Everything is Normal” was released in September 2010 on Setting Sun Records. Any of their tracks can be supplied without vocals if instrumental music is required. The Unravelling will be touring the USA, Europe and Japan in 2011.
